.

For Christmas I got a Dior eyeshadow palette in 708 amber design and I haven't used it once so I thought i'd test it out and do a makeup look together with my new Natural Collection Moisture Rich lipstick in Cranberry.

I wanted to make my eyes look more Asian and more almond shaped. I don't know if it really worked, it just looks like a regular smokey eye :/. ANYWAY, I wasn't actually going anywhere looking like this, I was just home alone, a bit bored, and felt like experimenting with my new makeups. I don't know if I'd wear it out, because the lip color is quite dark I'd wear it with lighter eye makeup. Also I'm wearing my airfoam foundation in these pictures and I didn't even apply concealer anywhere so the coverage definitely isn't light.

You look so pretty and your eyes are like hazel, so lucky! haha. hey are you possibly mix Asian? because there's just something latina-ish about you ^.^

wahahah they're lenses but thank you! They're grey colored but cus the photos are a bit blurry it looks like I have hazel eyes, my natural eye color is brown. I'm half filipino and half swedish actually. I think I definitely look more asian without that makeup. Where in dk do you live? My sis lives in copenhagen :).

Those are niiice. I just bought 3 pairs recently! Also grey, so I hope they turn up hazel like yours haha ^^ I thought I could see a bit mix in your features, but I would have never guessed Swedish.. Do you live in Sweden then? I live in Odense, not so international as CPH *_*

Wow, those are some lovely photos. Your skin looks amazing, and your make up really works well with your whole look. Stunning! :)

Gosh, I didn't think you looked Asian at first, but after reading your comment here, I think I can see it!

i know right! my skin looks awesome. But that's another secret I have to confess haha. My camera has this setting called beauty shot and i think it makes the photos look airbrushed. oh and sally I live in england, moved here from sweden about 11 years ago. Never heard of odense? I used to live in malmo in sweden so it was just 15 minutes from denmark and we used to go there all the time.

I'm suprised that you guys didn't think I look all that asian, but the makeup makes such a big difference, without the contouring + dark eye makeup I look a lot more filipino.

hey, love the look. i was wondering, im not sure if it's just my camera, but i look soo washed out w/ this foundation on compared to my other foundations on camera, so i was wondering did u use flash while taking this? thanks.

DDee: Thank you! Yes I did use flash for these photos. Hmm, do you use a moisturizer with spf?
The foundation is a little dark for me so makes me look more tanned, also because this foundation is matte, it's like it's only one solid color on your skin. It doesn't have those little shimmer/glow particles like some other foundations e.g. Revlon Photoready, Mac Mineralize. Because it doesn't have that mineral finish, it can look quite 1 dimensional, especially in photos. What I do is use a bronzer and highlighter that have a little bit of shimmer to contour my face, or you could just use a mineral finishing powder ontop. It doesn't have to be anything too expensive, my favorite thing to use as highlighter is actually bourjois eyeshadow in beige rose: http://thehut.pantherssl.com/productimg/0/300/300/82/10361382-1304506824-199957.jpg

Hope that helps!

That looks stunning! I actually think it looks really nice - very "photoshoot" style (which of course is more glam)
